- VOID is a materials science company pioneering a new generation of nano-cellular polymers based on VO+ technology. VO+ is a breakthrough in materials science that engineers nano-scale structures into polymers to tailor and enhance product performance. A key advantage is the ability to lightweight polymers by up to 50% while increasing toughness, strength, and insulation properties. VO+ has been demonstrated in four polymer platforms: polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP) and polylactic acid (PLA) and is compatible with existing supply chain structures and manufacturing technologies. Kimberly-Clark invented and patented VO+ and have granted VOID an exclusive global license to the IP estate in markets outside of its core focus. VOID is now working in partnership with multinational companies to launch fibre, film and sheet products relevant in markets and supply chains worth $100bns.
