This is achieved by empowering low-income families with the education and tools they need to break the cycle of poverty. CAP Tulsa provides the support and guidance with early childhood education and comprehensive enrichment programs for the entire family. CAP Tulsa specifically focuses on a two generation approach that aims not only to prepare young children for future success in school, but also their parents through programs designed to increase parenting skills, employability and earning potential.CAP serves more than 2,000 of Tulsa's low-income children in 13 early childhood centers across the county. CAP employs more than 500 staff members and coordinates the work of hundreds of volunteers.
