Red Granite Pictures is a Los Angeles based film production, finance, and international sales company headed by co-founders Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland.Red Granite's film slate includes the highly anticipated The Wolf of Wall Street, directed by Martin Scorsese and featuring an A-list ensemble cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Margot Robbie, Kyle Chandler, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, and Jon Favreau. Red Granite financed and produced the film with DiCaprio's Appian Way and Scorsese's Sikelia Productions. Paramount Pictures released The Wolf of Wall Street domestically on December 25, 2013.Additional projects currently financed and produced by Red Granite Pictures include the supernatural fantasy/thriller Horns, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple (with Mandalay Pictures) and the gritty drama Out of the Furnace, starring Christian Bale, Casey Affleck and Zoe Saldana (with Relativity Media). It was recently announced that Red Granite Pictures, along with Universal, will be in production on Bobby and Peter Farrelly's Dumb and Dumber To, reviving the franchise almost twenty years after this comedy classic was first released in 1994. Dumb and Dumber To is slated to release on November 14, 2014.The company's first film was the hit romantic comedy Friends with Kids (Roadside / Lionsgate release) starring Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Jennifer Westfeldt, Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Maya Rudolph, Ed Burns and Chris O'Dowd. Red Granite teamed with Point West Productions and Locomotive to produce the film.Red Granite's foreign sales division, Red Granite International, was announced at the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival and has sold films such as The Wolf of Wall Street, Horns, Out of the Furnace, and Friends With Kids across all territories.
