    Description

    • The Global Soap Project is a nonprofit organization that promotes global hygiene. Each day, more than two million partially used bars of soap are thrown away by hotels in the US. At the same time, more than 2.4 million children die annually from diarrheal diseases and pneumonia. Since handwashing with soap is the most effective way to prevent those deaths, the Global Soap Project was founded to capture this valuable material that was being wasted and turn it into a disease fighting tool. We partner with NGOs that use the soap for handwashing education and as part of hygiene programs to positively impact preventable disease of the worlds most vulnerable populations.
