• Who We AreWorkforce Alliance and the American Job Centers in New Haven, Meriden, Hamden and Middletown, CT provide employment and training services in South Central CT at no cost to the jobseeker or employer.Our services are funded by state, federal and competitive sources including the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), Jobs First Employment Services (JFES) and other employment and training programs that benefit job-seekers and employers at no cost to them. Visit our American Job Centers to use our computer labs, search for employment, enroll in workshops and connect with employment specialist and job developers. The One Stop Services Orientation is the starting point for access to training assistance. Employers recruit on site and use incentive packages (see CONTACTS below) for hiring and training On-the-Job, which can reimburse 50% - 75% of wages during training. Employers can select their own candidate or rely on staff for referrals.
