- Point of Hope has a mission to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and brain injuries in achieving their dreams and personal goals with dignity, compassion, and distinction. Point of Hope provides day habilitation programs, vocational, meaningful experiences, and work units as part of the whole program. We assist families in developing and understanding skills to foster independence in their loved one. We strive to maintain supportive relationships with families and the community. Point of Hope has two locations in Delaware, centrally located in both New Castle and Kent counties: New Castle - 34 Blevins Drive, Suite 5, New Castle DE 19720Smyrna - 4877 Wheatleys Pond Road, Smyrna DE 19977 We provide specialized services in the following fields: - Autism spectrum disorders- Brain injury- Challenging behaviors- Hearing and vision impaired- Epilepsy/seizure disorders- Orthopedic impairment- Speech/language impairment- Cerebral palsy- Mental illness- Intellectual disabilities- Medically fragile- Other neurological impairments
