- Thompson Financial Services (TFS), is an independently minded boutique financial planning firm servicing clients throughout the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are licensed through Synchron an non-institutionally aligned dealer group of which give us the unique opportunity and flexibility in recommending solutions that are always in the best interest of our clients and not of the big 4 banks. We are passionate about partnering with clients to see them achieve their goals through education, advice and ongoing engagement. We believe transparency is the foundation of any advice relationship and as such we work on a fee for services model and do not accept any commissions on any investment, superannuation or any volume based bonuses (paid due to large number of fund within one product or group of products). We will accept commissions on insurance policies of which is clearly stated and pointed out within every SoA however we always give our clients the option to pay for this advice on a per hour basis.
