- Chris Winter founded Watershed Security in July 2003, and in January 2008 Ron Boustedt joined the company as Managing Member. Chris and Ron have a combined 25 years experience in the Information Technology (IT) field. Both are highly respected IT professionals with experience in IT Operations, Information Security, Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Systems Accreditation. Both have managed large IT programs comprised of Subject Matter Experts, Engineers and Administrators.In September 2003 and again in September 2004, BAE Systems awarded subcontracts to Watershed for IA consulting services to Military Sealift Command (MSC). In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 MSC executed their option to continue the contract with BAE and BAE extends its contract with Watershed.In an effort to broaden Watersheds business opportunities within the Federal Government, Managing Member, and majority shareholder, Ron Boustedt self-certifies Watershed as a Small Veteran Owned Business (SVOB) and seeks certification in the Small Business Administrations (SBA) 8a program. Each of these programs open new marketing opportunities by allowing Watershed to compete for SVOB and 8a set aside contracts.
