• Wazuh is an IT security startup based in the Silicon Valley area of California and operating worldwide. Wazuh provides support and professional services to companies using or planning to use Open Source SECurity (OSSEC) host intrusion detection system (HIDS). Wazuh contributes to the existing OSSEC HIDS project, maintaining installers for multiple platforms and creating new rules for threat detection. Additionally, Wazuh actively develops its own OSSEC fork, free Open Source (GPLv2), creating new unique features and extra capabilities that position our company as the leader in the Open Source Endpoint Security space. Since its inception, back in March 2015, Wazuh has realized considerable growth and is expanding operations in a global level. Today, we have more than 10 engineers between the remote development team in Spain and the office in the US. Wazuh helps organizations to get the desired security visibility providing users with a reliable and powerful Open Source Solution. This endpoint security visibility is essential for companies using a cloud environment and become critical for those that need to comply with regulations, such as PCI DSS or HIPAA. For these reasons all our developments are customer needs oriented. Among them, we have integrated OSSEC with ELK Stack and continue developing modules to add extra capabilities to OSSEC in order to cover as many regulation requirements as possible, making compliance easier.
