• Mission43 is a statewide veterans initiative in Idaho, the 43rd state, established by the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation to create an environment for veterans and their spouses to excel professionally, physically, and socially. This one of a kind partnership brings together the nation's premier veterans organizations including Hire Heroes USA, Team Rubicon, Team Red White & Blue, and Guild Education. Mission43 is also partnered with Idaho higher education institutions to increase academic success by evaluating military service for academic credit, providing intensive advising, and establishing clear pathways to career producing degrees. The cornerstone of Mission43's employment focus is Hire Heroes USA. Every veteran or military spouse is individually partnered with a highly-trained Veteran Transition Specialist to translate military experience into civilian terminology, create a tailored civilian resume, and learn effective job search, networking and interview skills. They are also the direct connection to career opportunities with Idaho businesses that value the attributes developed through military service. We also conduct a quarterly speaker panel and networking series called Mission43 INC (Innovate + Network + Connect).
