- Just a Pair of Shoes is a nonprofit organization in the state of Ohio. We believe in giving high quality name brand shoes to children in 4th-6th grade. To instill confidence in each child and showing them the importance of being a good friend, good student, and a good son or daughter. Having a nice pair of shoes will allow a child to not walk with their head down and have some small success in different areas of their life. A little success can spark hope for a better future. Just a Pair of Shoes preaches the importance of higher education and participating in athletics. At the end of the day, its not just a pair of shoes, its what you do in them. Its joy, its hope, its confidence, and its comfort in knowing someone believes in you.
