The Film Community
Get Full AccessDescription
- The Community is a New York based film finance and production company whose mission is to make bold and original stories that the mini-majors and studios have abandoned in favor of oversized tentpole blockbusters and endless franchise films. By creating opportunities for A-list directors and actors to make films they care about while providing risk-mitigated investments in the independent film sector, The Community serves as a bridge between filmmakers and investors. Unlike some companies that are beholden to certain genres or points of view, The Community has taken a neutral position in the marketplace and is driven by internal protocol not external whims. The Communitys management team is a well-balanced group of film creatives and finance specialists. This balance is key to The Communitys decision-making process in all regards.
