• MISSION STATEMENT At TEACH the POSSIBILITY, our mission is to alleviate poverty worldwide through increasing college opportunity for low-income students in spite of commonly considered obstacles such as poverty, inadequate preparation for school, or lack of family history of college graduation. VISION STATEMENT Reality should not be synonymous with possibility when it comes to teaching children. Our vision is to successfully prepare PreK-12 low-income students on each continent in all school types (i.e., district, charter, independent, and faith-based) to successfully graduate from college through the skillful integration of research, practice, and policy. In an effort to alleviate poverty, we partner with leaders worldwide in PreK-16 education, government, non-profit, philanthropy, and the private sector to increase college opportunity for PreK-12 low-income students in all school types (i.e., district, charter, independent, and faith-based). PURPOSE Preparing students today for who they will become tomorrow, we passionately pursue our purpose to make the possibility of a college education a reality for PreK-12 low-income students on each continent in all school types (i.e., district, charter, independent, and faith-based) who will be the first in their immediate families to graduate from college in spite of commonly considered obstacles such as poverty, inadequate preparation for school, or lack of family history of college graduation. LINKEDIN PURPOSE Our publications, designed to bridge the research, practice, and policy implementation gap, focus on research-based, practitioner-proven practices that improve academic performance for all students, specifically, high-achieving, low-income students in all school types (i.e., district, charter, independent, and faith-based) around the globe and how these research-based, practitioner-proven practices can inform educational policy.
