- Enriching the Community: The organization is dedicated to enriching the lives of the citizens of Omaha & surrounding communities. In its 2 venues: the Orpheum Theater & Holland Performing Arts Center, OPA presents the best of Broadway, jazz, blues, dance, comedy, family & popular entertainment, along with a range of educational programs and free community events.The Orpheum Theater: Built in 1927, the Theater is home to Broadway, dance, stand-up comedy, contemporary music & other theatrical productions. In addition, the theater also hosts Opera Omaha, a variety of private and community events, local dance recitals & weddings.The Holland Performing Arts Center: Opened in 2005 & presents world-class musical events from legendary jazz & blues artists to country & world-music ensembles. In addition to hosting the Omaha Symphony, the Holland Center houses a variety of private & community events, weddings, receptions & corporate gatherings.Education: The organizations educational offerings include Student Matinees, Nebraska High School Theatre Awards, Master Classes, Internships & Arts Access.Community Events: Jazz on the Green and Cox Music & Movies. In addition, the organization offers an annual social justice forum that uses the performing arts to engage the community in discussions about social justice issues.Non-Profit: Founded as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in June 2000, OPA is the largest arts institution in Nebraska. OPA relies upon the generosity of its supporters to realize its mission. The organizations performances, venues, education & community engagement programs are supported in part by corporate sponsors, private donors, foundations & public grants. Ticket Omaha: The official ticket retailer for the Orpheum & Holland. Conveniently located on the lobby level of the Holland Center, Ticket Omaha also provides ticketing services to other local arts organizations, including Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha & Omaha Community Playhouse.
