- Direct Focus Inc. started life in 1990 as the US arm of Barry Rosen Productions, an international production company that produced commercials in 22 countries and established cutting edge post-production and sound facilities. In the mid 90's, Barry Rosen (President and founder) consolidated DFI's resources into a production consulting service firm unlike any other. Direct Focus is a firm that responds to the needs of advertisers in this fiscally more responsible era while maintaining high quality creative product from their advertising agencies. DFI is the client's common production link between all their brands and ad agencies. Global advertising production experience, coupled with hands on expertise in filmmaking, special effects, and sound engineering has enabled DFI to become a leader in broadcast production advisory services. By adding its distinctive spin on creativity and unique methodology to the production process, DFI impacts the overall look and commercial value of the spot in a positive way. DFI has advised global clients, cost consultants, ad agencies and production companies worldwide. DFI ensures that its clients are protected from other's agendas and represented by a company with an unbiased, objective point of view. Our foremost priority is to uphold only those interests during the commercial production process, and to do so in such a way that team synergy and finished product is enhanced.
