Xrayline installs your own dedicated large capacity PACS archive server, inside your clinic, capable of storing millions of studies, for as long as you wish. Directly accessible locally inside your clinic from your xrayline workstations, or any other vendor's workstations, kpacs, efilm, osirix, etc. Your server joins our cloud and is seamlessly accessible online with a web browser from anywhere, via our secure site www.xrayline.com. You can have patients, referring physicians, and radiologists, access studies via the web portal, each with different access privileges and different studies lists, securely. You can quickly push any number of large studies directly to it from any modality inside your clinic, or from modalities in other satellite locations without any infrastructure modifications. A single Software license for a comparable archive server with a web viewer, sells for around $10k. A workstation license cost around $900. They come with the overhead of managing them, plus the infrastructure requirements in order to get the server to function, static ip, ports forwarding, network security measures, DMZ setup, etc. After the first year, annual support is around 25% of the original license fee. Managed IT services costs much more. A standard industry estimate for the total cost of ownership is around $4 per study.
