- Hunger Fight's mission is to significantly reduce thenumber of hungry children and families in the First Coast andsurrounding area. We distribute 3 meals; Macaroni and Cheese, Rice andBeans or a fortified Soy/Rice Casserole meal specifically formulated tomeet the nutritional needs of a hungry or starving child. We engagevolunteers, as young as six years old, to package the ingredients forthe meals. Maintain a working relationship with hundreds of food banks,food pantries and mission homes all throughout Northeast Florida. Weare also a Disaster Relief Partner for the Salvation Army.In 2 short years, we have packed 901,456 meals that havebeen distributed to children and families here in the North FloridaArea. We have enjoyed great success in all of our events by exceedingour set goals and we have recently been added as a Disaster ReliefPartner for the Salvation Army. We have donated 125,000 meals forschool's backpack programs here in the North Florida area.
