• Western Healthcare Alliance provides business solutions to help locally-driven healthcare organizations succeed.Western Healthcare Alliance (WHA) was established as the first formal commitment of rural hospitals in Colorado to combine resources in order to improve regional healthcare. The Alliance provides members with a forum for identifying, discussing, and collectively addressing rural healthcare issues.Founded in 1989, WHA is a membership organization giving hospital and healthcare leaders the ability to develop innovative business lines for the purposes of generating cost savings, revenue streams and improvement in regional patient care.Members have access to over 45 programs and services that are operated and managed by Western Healthcare Alliance staff. Some programs are owned and operated by Western Healthcare Alliance members including: A-1 Collection Agency, AR Services Billing, Peer Review Program and the Laboratory Services Network. Other programs are coordinated with our valued Preferred Corporate Partners including Lockton Insurance, Premier Group Purchasing Organization, Mayo Clinic Medical Laboratories and others.WHA Members meet quarterly in-person and via WebEx through Peer Network groups for hospital CEOs, CFOs, HR Directors, IT Directors, Patient Financial Services Directors, Laboratory Directors, Materials Managers, and many others.
