Document Destruction & Recycling Services (DDRS) is a facility-based confidential material destruction company that services businesses and communities in Central and Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Our goal is to destroy confidential materials in the most secure, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly manner via our Custom Destruction Programs. The company was the first in Iowa to achieve AAA certification from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID®). We provide quick and secure solutions for destroying outdated files, data backup tapes, X-rays, books, CDs and DVDs, floppy disks, video and audio tapes, credit cards, ID badges, photos and more. DDRS also offers electronic recycling services for computers, printers, monitors, etc. Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, we have additional facilities located in Altoona (Des Moines) and Davenport (Quad Cities). DDRS is committed to actively promoting our industry and playing a role in determining its future success. Our Vice President, Chris Ockenfels, served as NAID® President in 2005. In 2013, Mr. Ockenfels, along with two DDRS Sales Managers, Vanna Root and Bailey Burt, earned the highest individual achievement in the industry: NAID®'s Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) designation. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of City Carton Recycling, one of the largest full-service recycling companies in the Midwest. City Carton Recycling was recently recognized as the United States' 16th Largest Paperstock Dealer in 2013 by Recycling Today magazine.
