• Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC) is a leader in innovative education, connecting with local, national, and global businesses and educators, offering rigorous, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) infused academics, producing caring, well-rounded 21st century citizens. Our mission as a PreK-8 school that engages all students in an innovative learning environment, is to prepare students for success in a global society through academic excellence by the use of 21st Century skills and technology integration. KTEC offers its students a balanced education which is literacy focused and includes music, physical education, art and Spanish. KTEC uses unique programs, like Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and LEGO Robotics to meet Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. We take traditional, existing curriculums for all subjects and infuse them in innovating ways to develop critical thinkers, technical readers and writers, and confident communicators, who use creativity and collaboration to solve problems. The use of technology gets students out of their seats and puts materials in their hands, allowing them to take ownership in learning how instead of listening to someone else telling them. We are preparing students for the future.
