- Central Washington HospitalWenatchee General Hospital opened in 1912, thanks to generosity of Wenatchee pioneers W.T. Clark and A.Z. Wells, and was later renamed St. Anthonys. St. Anthonys merged with Deaconess Hospital in the late 1970s to become Central Washington Hospital. Today, Central Washington Hospital is a 198 bed facility (including 22 SNF beds), offering acute medical, surgical, oncology, cardiovascular, maternal/child, emergency, and hospitalist services, skilled nursing care, outpatient rehabilitation, home health and hospice services, and maintains Level III adult and pediatric trauma designation.By investing in technology and resources to stay on the leading edge of healthcare innovation, our communities get local access to leading medicine.Our Setting and LifestyleWe are located in the heart of Washington State, just 2.5 hours east of Seattle.
