• Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin (NCW) is one of 165 regional Goodwill organizations throughout North America and Canada. A member of Goodwill Industries International, it has been serving north central Wisconsin communities since 1971, based in Menasha. Goodwill NCW serves 35 Wisconsin counties and includes 26 Goodwill Retail Stores and Training Centers from Manitowoc to La Crosse, and as far north as Rice Lake and Rhinelander. Our goal is to help those with disabilities and other barriers to employment, and others with individualized needs, maintain their independence and become more fully contributing members of society. By improving lives, we improve communities. Goodwill NCW supports 29 human-services programs and services, from financial counseling to community gardening, job training and placement to Miracle League baseball, birth-to-3 support to representative payment services. In 2015, Goodwill NCW served more than 63,700 people across Wisconsin, the third consecutive year that the organization has served at least that many people. Goodwill NCW's stores sell a combination of donated and new merchandise, with roughly 85 percent of store merchandise from donations. In 2015, the organization collected 46.2 million pounds of donations, most at our stores' donation doors, Donation Express facilities and familiar blue donation bins. Goodwill NCW is overseen by a volunteer board of directors.
