• ABS provides data driven, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to infants, children, and adolescents. Trained therapists deliver individualized instruction to students while being supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. All student programs are based on a Verbal Behavior framework and are designed to build skills sequentially so that students continue learning as their proficiency increases. Ongoing assessments of each childs preferences, strengths and needs are used to guide program development. We provide clinical-based services at our Skokie, IL location and home-based therapy throughout Cook County, IL and in other select locations. About the founder: Sarah Hively is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has provided a wide variety of supervisory and one-on-on services in both the home and clinical based settings. Past experience includes: Clinical Director at a center based facility, a Behavior Consultant in public school settings and an Educational Coordinator in home based settings. In these roles she gained experience supervising therapists, overseeing student progress, administering assessments, developing model ABA classrooms, and providing trainings and workshops to parents, therapists, teachers, daycares, and school district administrators. Sarah knows the importance of understanding, supporting, and creating programs that are functional and meaningful to the child and family. Therefore, she believes in three key elements to building a successful program. The first is providing a comprehensive and individualized program based on the principles of behavior. The second is remaining hands on, working directly with children and staff. The third is working closely with the family as parental feedback and participation are crucial to a childs progress
