• World Tree Circle is a global open source community site currently under development. It links people across the globe based on their similar interests while removing the language barrier. Emphasis is placed on making new friends, no prior association required. Users can tailor their personal feed to include information they care about, right down to the ads they see, based on the interests, hobbies, vocation, and so on, that they provide in their profile. A question and answer board with a branch for each country or region provides community members with a place to ask questions directly to people with personal and firsthand experience of the region in question. Whether someone is interested in travel, recipes, culture, or day to day living in an area, this is the place to ask. This will be a key tool for the Scavenger Hunt released at a later date. All the software used for World Tree Circle is open source, making it possible for anyone to contribute to the design and operation of the site. Members can make suggestions and participate in polls to decide on what works best for the community this way. This includes the translation software. With the help of a common neutral language as the bridge and teamwork of the community, translation will become more and more accurate with every use. This site is currently under development.
