- To provide motivated students with mentorship, scholarship, and exposure to the energy and finance industry in a performance based environment.Each year, a group of critically selected high school sophomore students actively participate in an energy/finance focused professional development program.Recruitment is focused on top performing students from the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Applicants endure a highly competitive selection process consisting of essay responses, teacher recommendations, and a series of interviews to earn their place in the program.Once accepted the students are a part of a dynamic three year program which consists of three one-month summer sessions and year-round professional mentoring. The program connects the students with industry leaders and exposes them to state of the art technologies and environments.
