• YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School is a 501(c)(3) organization with 25 years of experience helping young people rebuild their lives. Our unique, one-year program provides high school dropouts with a chance to earn their diplomas while learning vital job skills and providing valuable community services.YouthBuild Philadelphia currently employs more than 50 dedicated teachers, instructors, case managers, and administrators to help students navigate their way through the program and transition to full-time jobs and post-secondary educational programs.Our school has three core values: Excellence, Respect, and Perseverance. We believe that every student, regardless of his or her past, can embrace these values and achieve anything.YouthBuild Philadelphia is an affiliate and flagship of YouthBuild USA, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income young people become educated, productive adults in their communities.YouthBuild Philadelphia is supported by AmeriCorps National and AmeriCorps State Direct via PennSERVE, the Pennsylvania Governor's Office of Citizen Service. All students are considered part-time members of AmeriCorps during their time at YouthBuild Philadelphia.
