• Magnetic Brewing is a nano-brewery that is located in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood of San Diego. All of our beers are sold as tasters, tulips, pints and 64oz growlers at the brewery.Magnetic Brewing produces products of high quality and impeccable taste. The company currently produces six main lines of products. All of the names refer either to magnetism or electro-magnetism.LodestoneThis is a strong (9.5% alcohol, 60 IBUs) Belgian brown ale with a great head and tremendous character. We use authentic Belgian candi sugar to give it an authentic character. The yeast gives the beer fruity notes common to many Belgian beers.Weiss DomainThis is a strong (8.1% alcohol, 16 IBUs) Belgian Witbier that is very pale in color and brewed using unmalted wheat and malted barley and spiced with coriander and orange peel.FluxThis is a lighter (5.1% alcohol, 22 IBUs) Amber colored ale with a mild hop character, and a mildly malty, clean finish.PermeableThis is a lighter (6.1% alcohol, 31 IBUs) American Pale Ale with nicely balanced hop flavor and grapefruit at the front while the pine claims the back end. Finishes clean with a slight residual bitterness of mostly grapefruit and then followed by pine. A sound beer that is well suited for those that desire a not too hoppy brew.IonicThis is a strong (7.1% alcohol, 91 IBUs) American IPA with smooth, sharp, biting bitterness, but not overzealous. Sweetness is prevalent, but more of a dry earthy rind. Flavors are well blended, not filling, delicious, quaffable, highly drinkable.MagnatarThis is a strong (10.5% alcohol, 124 IBUs) Double IPA with lots of grapefruit and pine hops. Also notes of sweet malts but ends with a nice splash of piney bitterness. Medium body, smooth silky with a great dry finish that makes you want another taste. Alongside the six core beers will be an ever changing cast of experimental and seasonal beers that will provide and maintain interest.
