Previously, Vista Interanational Packaging, LLC the Company was acquired by ViskoTeepak of Mariehamn, Finland. ViskoTeepak is a leading international manufacturer of cellulose, fibrous, and plastic casings for the food industry. The companies have had a long-standing strategic relationship with Vista as the exclusive converting, sales, and service representative in the U.S. market for ViskoTeepaks fibrous casings, Nova® tubular plastic casings, and Wienie-Pak® cellulose casings. ViskoTeepak is a world leading international manufacturer of fibrous, cellulose and plastic casings for the food industry and has the largest selection of different fibrous casings in the world with the ability to produce the industrys widest diameter range of fibrous casing. ViskoTeepak Fibrous products are primarily used for dry and semi-dry sausages, Wienie-Pak casings are used for the effective processing and packaging of frankfurters, hot dogs and similar applications while Nova tubular plastic casings is optimal for deli meats, cooked sausages and dairy products. ViskoTeepak is a part of the Eriksson Capital Group and after the acquisition of Vista, employs over 1000 people.
