- Founded in 1975, in San Antonio, Texas, Peripheral Vascular Associates has become one of the largest single specialty vascular groups in the nation. Vascular surgeons are the only specialists extensively trained to provideprovide the full range of treatment options including medical management, minimally invasive endovascular therapy, and traditional surgery. We offer a complete range of peripheral vascular surgery services including carotid endarterectomy, aortic aneurysm repair, lower extremity bypass, dialysis grafts, state of the art balloon angioplasty, stenting, and endografts. The staff of over 160 individuals within PVA includes: nurses,prosthetists, radiology technologists, noninvasive vascular technologists, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialist, nursing assistants, clerical staff, operators, administrators and 20 physicians with over 200 years of cumulativeexperience as Doctors of Arteries and Veins. Our goal is to help patients with vascular problems, and toprevent future problems in those at risk.
