- Estudio Lamela is one of the most renowned Spanish architectural firms. It was founded by Antonio Lamela in 1954 and has developed almost 2.000 projects. Carlos Lamela is currently its Executive President.The firm has offices in Madrid, Warsaw, City of México and Doha. Estudio Lamela has expertise in all areas of architectural activity: sports, transportation, offices, residential, healthcare and hotels, as well as urban planning. Since 2001, the firm has supported the EAN (European Architects Network), a European network of the architectural firms HOK, NPS, ARTE CHARPENTIER, ALTIPLAN Y PROGETTO CMR.Estudio Lamela holds the ISO 9001: 2015 international certification granted by BUREAU VERITAS.Main built projects in Spain: Colon Towers, refurbishment of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for Real Madrid Football Club, Terminal T4 at Madrid Barajas Airport in collaboration with Richard Rogers Partnership, Real Madrid Sport City, reconversion of the Business Park of Expo Zaragoza 2008, headquarters of IMDEA Software, office building Pegaso City, headquarters of John Deere, headquarter of Caja Badajoz, the Roca Madrid Gallery, the new residences of the Real Madrid first football team and the youth team and the enlargement of the airport in Gran Canaria.Out of Spain: Astro Tower in Brussels in collaboration with Altiplan. In Poland the remodelling of Chopin Warsaw Airport, Stadium of Krakow, the Lublin Municipal Stadium, the Metro Line 2 stations, the Pacific building the headquarters of Nestlé Poland as well as various residential projects and offices. In México, has built the Contact Centre for Banco Santander in Querétaro and other residential, office and transportation projects.At the moment, several projects are underway, including the conversion of the Canalejas Complex into a hotel of Four Seasons chain and an office building in Madrid for Colonial, 7 Lusail light rail stations and the Marina Mix 004 Tower in Doha, and the Tijuana Airport in México.
