• Jonathan Savage grew up in Middle Tennessee, surrounded by design, as his family was prominent in real estate development. After studying business in college, Jonathan pursued his true passion for interior design and architecture as a student at American University in London, England.Upon returning to the United States, Jonathan attended OMore College of Design in historic Franklin, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.In 2007, he accepted a summer internship at the New York office of Owen and Mandolfo, Inc. Following graduation, Jonathan returned to New York City and worked for designer David Kleinberg. While employed at David Kleinberg Design Associates, Jonathan worked on numerous high-end residential projects in Manhattan, the Hampton's, and throughout the United States. He has experience with space planning, custom furniture, interior architecture and enjoys consulting with clients regarding color, as well as selecting fine materials and finishes. After a tremendous design experience with DKDA, Jonathan chose to return to Nashville, Tennessee to continue his design career and to open Savage Interior Design. Jonathans primary focus is residential design, ranging from contemporary downtown lofts to sprawling estates. Although Jonathan is known to be one of the top designers in Nashville, he additionally has ongoing projects in California, New York, Washington D.C. and Florida.
