• Wings for Warriors is a volunteer driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in support of combat wounded military service members returning home from Iraq & Afghanistan.Our mission is to provide necessary tools, insights & resources for wounded veterans as they go through the recovery process & transition into new realities. Among the services & activities we support include:* Guidance & counseling in dealing with military & government entities to secure healthcare, financial & legal benefits.* Financial assistance for immediate family members traveling to visit wounded loved ones located at military & hospital facilities around the nation.*Public awareness events & programs to highlight the unique challenges our wounded warriors face & to ensure that they receive strong community support.Since 2010, Wings For Warriors has assisted over 1,200 wounded warriors and/or their families nationwide through the services we provide.Wings for Warriors serves wounded veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. We exist to ensure that these wounded warriors who gave so much in service of our country receive the adequate health care, counseling, job training and government benefits, and local community support they need to transition back into a healthy and productive civilian life. As a volunteer driven organization, we rely on the generosity of financial sponsors to fund our mission to give back to those veterans who have sacrificed so much to keep our country safe. These wounded warriors fought for us... It's time we fight for them.
