    Description

    • MCFS operates under the principle that all students deserve equal access to the technology necessary to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for success in school, the community and the workforce. MCFS employs and trains inmates at the Stillwater Correctional Facility to refurbish and recycle computers donated from businesses. Data is scrubbed from the computer, in compliance with the Department of Defense standards, before the equipment arrives at the prison. MCFS is R2 and ISO 14001:2004 certified, anything that cannot be refurbished is recycled.The refurbished computers are sold to schools and educational nonprofits for a nominal fee. Each computer is customized for the schools needs and comes with a three-year warranty and tech support.
