• The Marquette Builders Exchange is a non-profit member-based organization operating both a physical and on-line commercial construction plan room. The office/physical plan room is open from 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday at 1229 W. Washington St, Marquette, MI. The on-line plan room is easily accessible to members 24/7, and allows for after-hours examination of drawings and specifications. www.mqtbx.org Members are informed of upcoming projects in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, along with pre-bid meetings, addenda, and bid results via weekly e-newsletters and email updates. The MBE is a co-sponsor of the U.P. Builders Show, along with the Home Builders Association of the U.P. The show is held every March at the Superior Dome in Marquette, Michigan. Members receive discounted rates on booth prices. www.upbuildersshow.org Large format scanning and coping in both black & white and color is available for members and the general public. Members receive reduced rates on copies/scans. The MBE awards annual scholarships to high school students who are pursuing higher education in the construction fields including: HVAC, welding, electrical, mechanical, engineering, plumbing, CAD, general construction management, architectural and all other areas. It has been done for over thirty years. The Marquette Builders Exchange has been serving the commercial construction industry since 1950. Mission: To promote the economic development of the construction industry in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through fostering business relationships, encouraging ethical conduct, and promoting integrity and responsibility in the construction industry.
