• Sippican Physical Therapy is excited to offer the SouthCoast community a newly built clinic with state-of-the-art equipment. We offer innovative therapies, such as the Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) and Manual Therapy, as well as traditional others, to support long-term rehabilitation and wellness. MET uses active graded exercises to help patients increase endurance and strength, and improve activities of daily living. The active rehabilitation approach originated in Scandinavia and was designed to treat athletes and ordinary patients with acute or chronic pain.Our therapist and Clinical Director, Kathryn Weegar, has been serving as a physical therapist for nearly a decade at clinics across the nation, specializing in the evaluation, assessment, and treatment of multiple orthopedic and occupational health diagnosis for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. She has provided treatment to both long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients, including those with oncology diagnoses and other complex medical conditions. Her expertise lies in her ability to treat orthopedic conditions including repetitive strain injuries, post-surgical, sports injuries, and back pain. Sippican Pysical Therapy is committed to not only helping people alleviate pain and suffering, but to helping our patients recover more quickly and effectively so they can get back to their lives. Our focus is the total patient experience from initial contact to discharge.
