A therapeutic activity program that provides support for adults, who due to physical or mental health impairment, functional disability, or social isolation, are unable to have their needs met outside a supportive daytime environment. Individuals can remain in the community instead of needing nursing home placement. Staff monitor medical needs; assist both participants and caregivers to deal with emotional and financial issues; and ensure participants find a role within our community to find validation for their past life and engagement in the present. We also provide small, family style Assisted Living including overnight respite care which allows family caregivers to travel or get a day or more of relief from caregiving. We are licensed by the State of Maryland. Our vehicles for the Assisted Transportation Program are certified twice a year for safety by the State.Winter Growth operates a site in Olney, MD and a two building site in Columbia, MD.
