- FMA is a Texas based non-profit. FMA powers outcome based personal financial education, career discovery, and post secondary education selection and funding curriculum for middle school, high school and college students. FMA's curriculum focus is to achieve social and economic transformation. FMA powers CAREER DISCOVERY, an after-school course for middle school students, REAL LIFE FINANCIAL MATH, a CTE/math hybrid course for high school students and READY TO LAUNCH, a bridge program from high school to college for parents and students. Along with each program comes the opportunity to participate in the experiential GAME OF REAL LIFE, an exciting reality-based game where students interview, train and are managed by volunteers from Houston companies when all the while, they work, pay bills, file tax returns, buy homes, cars, insurance, pay for college and manage life events.
