• Investigations: Our fire investigators utilize the Scientific Method as outlined in NFPA 921. Our NFPA 1033 qualified fire investigators have the knowledge, training, experience, and expertise to conduct fire investigations in residential and commercial structures, as well as in the wildland environment. Our fire investigators will process and document your fire scene including photographs, scene diagrams, evidence collection, comprehensive report writing, and expert witness testimony. We are available 24 hours a day for consultation. Training: We offer California State Fire Marshal certified training courses including Fire Investigation 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B. We include live burns in each of these courses for a more comprehensive and dynamic instruction experience. We conduct NFPA 921 and NFPA 1033 courses for professional development including an evidence collection class that will allow successful candidates to obtain an Evidence Collection Technician certification through the International Association of Arson Investigators. Research: As fire investigators, we are charged with utilizing the Scientific Method as part of our fire investigations. One of the steps of the Scientific Method, as found in NFPA 921, is to test any and all of our working hypothesis based on inductive/deductive reasoning. Our company has an ongoing research division that tests actual fire investigation hypothesis based on materials, products, and other factors found at the fire scene. We also collect and analyze materials that might be significant as part of your fire scene.
