• ProviDRs Care Network is a Preferred Provider Organization serving the entire state of Kansas. We have been operational since 1985.Our network has over 12,000 providers and 169 hospitals in Kansas and across the border into Nebraska, Missouri and Oklahoma. In 2016 ProviDRs Care expanded its geographic footprint through a reciprocity agreement with Preferred Health Professionals (PHP) in Kansas City. Groups now have the choice of adding the PHP network to their group plan, giving them access to another 11,500 physicians and 56 hospitals in Kansas City and northwestern Missouri.ProviDRs Care continues to partner with third party administrators to build community models by steering utilization to local providers. We now have 23 such models in place throughout Kansas. ProviDRs Care network is now accessed by 33 payers including five insurance companies, and 28 third party administrators. ProviDRs Care and staff serves in the following organizations: American Heart Association, Wichita Business Coalition on Health Care, Self Insurance Institute of America, Wichita Chamber, Center for Economic Development and Business Researchs Wichita Area Outlook Team, Wichita Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Health Underwriters. ProviDRs Care Network is owned with the Medical Society of Sedgwick County and is owned by the Medical Society of Sedgwick County Medical Review Foundation.
