The real-time, true temperature data and dimensional measurement features and controls are currently available on laser based, direct metal deposition AM systems. Several R&D programs are presently funded to integrate Stratonics sensor system into both laser and electron beam with powder bed and wire feed AM platforms.The integration of advanced optical diagnostics and intelligent materials processing; success in sophisticated electro-optical instrumentation systems in harsh environments.
