• Bantunium Labs is a 501(c)3 non-profit business center directed at the prosperity of budding Black entrepreneurs that are either starting out their business, growing a stagnant business, or wants to network with other thriving business in Atlanta. The lab offers industry specific research, development, pre-seed funding, and tools to get businesses started in the right direction. Think of the center as the SBA specifically for Black-owned businesses. Unlike most accelerators and incubators, Bantunum Labs is all inclusive of any business owned and operated by Black entrepreneurs. We can help you develop an action plan patterned after industry leaders but tailored to the community to ensure the business starts on the right foot. All mentors are experienced, industry professionals who will provide guidance, feedback, and support to help accelerate emerging companies. In addition to the workshop and meetup schedule, we have 3 major programs within the business center. Accelerator Induction - In April and October, we have a pitch session to induct 4 companies into the accelerator program. If selected, these companies receive enhanced mentorship and pre-seed capital to get their businesses started. Young CEO Camp - This camp is a 1-week session in the summer that teaches teens ages 13-17 about entrepreneurship. At the end of the week, students get to pitch their business for their chance to win funding to start the business. Afro-Economic Forum - Coming in 2018, this event is a 2-day conference designed to educate unlikely investors on the startup ecosystem. Companies will be able to present to investors for potential capital. As we grow, we hope to add to this list but our focus is to grow businesses that directly impact our community. As a disenfranchised minority, it is important that we have programs to foster community growth. Bantunium Labs seeks to educate and uplift so our culture community to greater heights.
