• While our primary focus is on drug and alcohol rehabilitation, we recognize mental health and behavioral issues such as depression, anger, anxiety, learning disabilities and disruptions to psycho-social development are either a consequence of substance use, put individuals at risk for abuse, and/or accompany drug and alcohol use. Our Mission Statement: We provide specialized addiction treatment for adolescents and young adults that is client centered and addresses obstacles that have plagued the addiction treatment industry: We believe addiction is an opportunity for change. Project Courage was built on the premise that meaningful change needs to happen not only within clients, but also within the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment. We believe that barriers in the form of standards, customs, and procedures have presented themselves to our clients that have had the unfortunate effect of pushing them away. Project Courage holds that it is not just our clients that need to fall under the microscope of self-examination. From this context, we developed our treatment model which utilizes the most efficacious and evidence based models that our field has to offer. We have incorporated what we feel works, and worked hard not to replicate aspects that prove limited in their success.
