Typical psychiatrists only spend a brief amount of time with their patients. However, it is unlikely that significant positive changes can take place in this manner. In mental-health care, having the time to make change happen is a necessity, not a luxury. At South Coast Psychiatry, we are different. We are a concierge-style practice, which means that unlike other providers, our doctors offer extended appointment times (30, 60 or 90 minutes), and they are also personally available to patients by phone or by e-mail outside the normal appointment hours. This allows patients time to think and process what has been discussed in the therapy appointments, and continue to engage in the process of learning and growing.Our administrative team is also here to serve you.
