    Description

    • HepQuant is an early-stage, medical diagnostics company with unique, patented and patent-pending technology for assessing liver function of patients with chronic liver disease. Our tests offer significant advantages to patients and physicians they are noninvasive, accurate, safe, inexpensive & convenient. HepQuant tests are alternatives to traditional methods of measuring liver function and levels of fibrosis and cirrhosis. The major manifestations of liver disease are ascites, variceal bleeding, and encephalopathy. All of these complications are due to progressive alteration of the portal circulation. HepQuant tests are the only tests that quantify, noninvasively, the portal circulation and correlate with clinical manifestations or outcomes.DISCLOSURE: HepQuant-STAT, HepQuant-SHUNT, and HepQuant-FLOW are investigational combination (drug/device) products not yet in clinical trials, and have not yet been evaluated or reviewed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They are not currently available for clinical use or commercial sale.
