- Crossroads was founded in 1960 by a group of committed citizens with a desire to help others struggling to overcome addiction. Crossroads began with a single residential facility near Ocotillo Road and 18th Street. That facility began our 50+ year legacy of changing lives and set the stage for what is now the largest residential substance abuse treatment programs for addicted men, woman, and veterans in Arizona. As substance abuse grows in Arizona, Crossroads grows to meet the need by expanding facilities and continuously evolving programming to improve on our already successful and impactful programs. Today, Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services Licensed Behavioral Residential Facility with proven expertise in serving addicted men, women, and veterans through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable residential recovery programs. Results show that our combination housing, basic needs provision, addiction treatment, 12-step emphasis, community collaboration, and a full menu of support services provides an effective basis for long-term recovery and promotes productive and successful lives. Residents develop the skills and confidence they need to successfully transition back into the community as healthy, self-sufficient, sober individuals. We operate 5 residential facilities in Phoenix, with 266 available beds. All facilities are staffed 24-hours a day and provide a safe and healthy residential environment for those committed to achieving sobriety and self-sufficiency. Each facility provides a highly structured environment and programs that reduce addiction, homelessness, relapse, and criminal recidivism and promote family reunification and successful community reintegration. Crossroads offers a cost effective two-tier system of programs that work the Right Track and Back to Basics Programs.
