• After working tirelessly during the fall semester of 2015 to build Loopey Laces from the ground up, we finally made our official launch on the Wake Forest University campus on January 11th, 2016 for sorority bid day. In the first two weeks of the second semester, we sold a few thousand dollars of our product at our selling booth on campus. After we saturated the Wake Forest market with our selling booth and chapter visits, we turned our attention towards building an eCommerce website for national expansion. We spent a majority of February locked up in our dorm room creating a website and negotiating a contract with a fulfillment company to ship and handle all of our online orders in a cost effective and timely manner. Our website is currently up and now available to fulfill orders. With the launch of our new website we also launched 9 new sorority lines: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Sigma, Sigma, and Zeta Tau Alpha to more than double our customer market. Recently, Tom and I have been putting together an SEO and marketing plan to drive customers to our website and increase our internet traffic. Additionally, we have registered to be vendors for the Kappa Kappa Gamma convention in San Diego as well as the Spirit Show in Charlotte this summer to rapidly spread our product all over the country.
