- In 2017, B.R. Johnson, LLC is celebrating our 89th year of unique, high-quality construction services. As a premier fenestration materials supplier and installation company, our business began in 1928, founded by Ben Johnson. The company has expanded significantly over the decades and has become a leading supplier and contractor specializing in commercial windows, doors, frames, hardware and specialty products. Traditionally, BR Johnson has been unparalleled in providing windows, doors, hardware, and partitions for commercial projects such as schools, colleges, universities, dormitories, healthcare, hotels, private development, and energy management projects. We have been deeply involved in numerous unique projects across the Northeast, including new construction and historic renovation for the State Historic Preservation Office and The National park Service. We recently completed the Eastman and Mohawk Towers at State University of New York (SUNY) Albany, two high profile projects where we worked closely with the Architect to provide a product and installation that met the performance and aesthetic requirements of the Owner. We were also proud to be a part of the Criterion Cinemas facility in Saratoga Springs.In the new Academic Building at SUNY Brockport, BR Johnson is furnishing a variety of space division products that include two Skyfold® folding partitions that rise into the ceiling in the auditorium, two classroom partitions by Modernfold®, and a fire-rated partition by Wondor®. BRJ has also recently completed the furnishing and installation of unique curtain wall openings at the Turningstone Casinos® restaurant and entertainment facilities in Verona, N.Y.
