- NanoDetection Technology (NDT) is a Delaware C-corporation formed to commercialize an integrated computer chip. This chip contains 25 discrete diodes for use in the rapid detection of multiple biomarkers. Our biosensor system is a patented microchip composed of multiple phototransistor integrated circuits (Biochip). This U.S. Department of Energy R&D 100 Award winning Biochip was designed and patented at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the rights exclusively licensed to NDT. (U.S. Patents 6,197,503 and 6,448,064 and 6,743,581) The NDT Biochip platform can be adapted to lateral flow, flow through immunodiagnostic, or microfluidic immunochemistry, molecular chemistry, infectious disease detection, and other biomarker detection technologies utilizing chemiluminescence, fluorescence, or phosphorescence. It can be applied to the human diagnostic, veterinary diagnostic, food safety, and bioterrorism markets.
