Why we do it? Congress funds the Indian Health Services at approximately 55% of need, which means Tribes continue to be underfunded. Shared Mission was formed, in part, as a partnership, with highly successful private practice healthcare providers using innovative technology and proven methods for continuous improvement to leverage funds, expand coverage for Tribal members and reduce operational costs while improving healthcare outcomes.
