• We are producing a video series to prevent sexual exploitation. We are calling this production SHIFT because it will shift our culture from one that is predatory towards women to one that protects them.FORTRESS Foundation is inspiring a generation of young people around the world to stand against sexual exploitation through the power of film and social media.Led by Peter Wilson (14 years old), our videography team is closely touched by the issues of youth crime, violence, teen suicide, bullying & other societal issues linked to the vulnerability of youth who are susceptible to sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Peter is a 2x winner of the Youth United Anti-bullying Film Festival and his commercial shoots have been featured on CBC prime time for two years running.Historically FORTRESS has developed and launched collaborative partnerships within the digital media world establishing access to advertising mediums around the globe. Using the success of the SIMS program whereby positive messaging was placed inside high school hallways through digital displays, we will distribute the initiative and directly influence the youth to prevent those who are driving the sexual exploitation and human trafficking demand before its too late. These collaborative partnerships historically were used to connect in an unprecedented, highly engaging way with young people during their most impressionable years.The issue the project will address.:Prevention of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.Each video in the series will be relating the prevention of sexual exploitation. We will utilize real life reenacted story lines which will serve as a relative and preventative model. Another activity will be weekly blogging on relative content with daily social media conversations with the youth to engage them into positive action. This project will inspire a generation to shift the atmosphere of sexual perversion to one of purity and protection.
